Welcome!

Hi! I’m Grant, the one and only hardworking member of Studart Sound. I’ve been a London based Sound Recordist and Production Sound Mixer since 2009 and have been flying drones since 2020. I enjoy collaborating in teams large and small, on anything and everything across the TV & Film industry.

2025 so far: I finished booming season 4 of Bridgerton earlier this year (as well as mixing some 2nd unit dailies) and am now looking to mix drama productions full time. I’ve also recorded on corporate videos for brands like Maybelline, Sage Accounting, Wembley Stadium and The Old Vic and worked as a gallery mixer for C4’s Hunted. About me

After studying and beginning my career in radio broadcasting, I took a course at the University of York, gaining an MSc in Post Production & Sound Design. After brief stints in some of Soho’s ADR basement studios, and then some Outside Broadcasting trucks, I found location sound and decided it was the right place to be.

Career highlights include spending several weeks filming with Warwick Davis and his family as they toured the UK, and mixing dailies on Bridgerton, one of Netflix’s most watched shows.

Products and Services

I really enjoy the variety that working in TV and Film can bring, so over the years have built both a full drama trolley and kit, as well as a lightweight documentary bag for travelling far and wide (including a recent investment in recording radio mics for those jobs that need extra redundancy). On drama productions I always bring on board personable and high quality team members.

I’m also a fully qualified drone pilot with a license for the UK and Europe and love being involved in shaping part of the visual story.
